If you didn’t know this already, I LOVE smoothies. They’re such a fun way to experiment with food’s flavor combinations, density, and color. I usually reach for a smoothie once a day at different points throughout the day. Sometimes they are a quick and easy meal replacement, and sometimes they serve as an in between snack attack. Here is a recipe for an at home version of our Brown Power smoothie. Use fresh ingredients you might already have at home and have fun experimenting!
At-Home Brown Power Smoothie
1 ½ Cups Unsweetened Plant Based Milk
1 Medium Sized Ripe Banana
¼ Cup Your Favorite Leafy Greens (Kale, Spinach, Chard, Arugula, …)
3 Tbsp Oats
2 Tbsp Raw Unsweetened Cacao or Dark Chocolate
3-4 Whole Pitted Dates
¼ Tsp Vanilla Extract
¼ Cup Ice
